I created a folder to help remind children to brush their teeth twice a day for two minutes with a fluoride toothpaste. The folder tears apart to form a poster and a three dimensional glow in the dark mouth. It is based on the idea of a party in your mouth with the cavity causing bacteria being the uninvited guests. It is aimed at children between the ages of 8-10 and would be sent home from school and dental appointments with children of this age.
The poster has scratch off material on it in the shape of the cavity crew characters. When the children have brushed their teeth day and night they can scratch a cavity crew character off the chart. The poster is to act as a reward chart, but in reverse. Rather than sticking on, the children will scratch off the cavity crew. The final poster will result in a cavity crew free mouth.
